Please join me in extending our heartiest congratulations to:

·       Bridgestone Tire Manufacturing Vietnam LLC (BTMV) for winning the TQM Award, showing strong committed ownership of “Creating Customer Value & Trust”.

·       Bridgestone China Investment Co. Ltd. for winning the ROIC Award, an award that recognizes outstanding contribution to earning power, ROIC.

We take pride in these achievements and accomplishments at the recent 13th Bridgestone Group Global TQM Conference 2023.

It was great to also see Bridgestone Wuxi Tire Co., Ltd. representing BSCAP on the global stage.

Bridgestone Group’s TQM activities have been actively promoting quality, aligning with the “Bridgestone Essence” and the Deming Plan over generations. Employees from all over the world who participated at global TQM conferences cultivate quality awareness, are focused on quality improvement, and are empowered to create more value for customers through the principles of Kaizen and Innovation, which are ingrained in Bridgestone’s DNA.

In 2023, 16 exemplary cases were presented, including three BSCAP representatives. The winning teams were selected by G-EXCO members on 14 September 2023. They were awarded the Grand Prize, TQM Award, Impression Award as well as ROIC Award. All teammates can access the event photos, TQM presentation materials via TQM Platform (News). I encourage all BSCAP teammates to view the cases as a valuable opportunity to learn and enhance their improvement initiatives in aligning with Bridgestone’s 3.0 journey.

Finally, I would like to express my appreciation to our three BSCAP representatives for their efforts in sharing our BSCAP improvement culture, “Fundamentals with Excellence” at this year’s Bridgestone Group Global TQM Conference. I look forward to seeing many more value-centric applications at next year’s BSCAP TQM Conference.
